Low Town: A novel by Daniel Polansky 5.0 out of 5 stars A MUST read, August 18, 2011

 Low Town: A novel (Hardcover)

The plot is strong, the characters colorful, the hero a misshapen, down at the heels drug dealer. How's that for a start? In the sphere of fantasy and make believe it's a winner. I couldn't put this book down. A absolute must read!

When children start disappearing, only to reappear as corpses, ex-intelligence detective, 'Warden' as he is called, becomes reluctantly involved in the case.

Pressured on all sides--from the suspected peer whose sadistic tendencies are unbounded, to the Special Ops hierarchy he used to work for--trouble abounds. Warden finds the path to the truth fraught with danger, intrigue and the promise of instant death should he put one foot wrong.
An excellent read.
